The European premiere of Elsinore, Simon Stone’s account of Ian Charleson preparing to play Hamlet at the National while facing his own mortality, with Andrew Scott in the lead.

Quarter past seven at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. If the gala is gone, it screens again at the Royal Festival Hall at three on 9 October and at BFI Southbank at half twelve on 16 October, and at cinemas around the UK. Booking opens on 17 September at ten, a week earlier for BFI members. Festival tickets start at £10 across London, though a gala is priced above that, and 16 to 25s can register for £6 tickets.
