No analytics, no cookies, no accounts. What that leaves, and who to ask about it.
This site does not track you. There is no analytics, there are no cookies, and there is nothing here to sign up to. If you read no further, that is the whole of it.
No analytics
We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics or tracking script. Nothing here measures who you are, where you came from or what you read. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it starts, not after.
No cookies
This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Nothing is loaded from anywhere else
Every part of a page here is served from this domain: the words, the pictures, the scripts and the typefaces. There is no font service, no content network, no embedded video and no social button, so loading a page tells no other company that you were here. The typefaces were served by Google until 7 September 2026 and are now hosted on this site, which is the last third party gone.
Your saved list
The bookmark on a listing keeps it in your own browser. It is not an account, it never reaches us, and we could not read it if we wanted to. Clearing your browser’s site data clears the list with it.
No accounts, no comments, no forms
You cannot register on this site, there is nowhere to leave a comment, and there is no form to fill in anywhere on it. We hold nothing you have typed.
If you write to us
Then we have your address and whatever you put in the message, for as long as it takes to deal with it. We do not add you to anything, and there is nothing to be added to.
Links out
Every listing links to the venue’s own page. Those sites set their own cookies and keep their own policies, and we have no control over either.
Server logs
Our host keeps standard access logs, as web hosts do, recording the page requested and the address it was requested from. We use them for keeping the site up and for nothing else.
Asking what we hold, or asking us to delete it
Write to admin@thelateedition.co.uk. You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it, and we will answer within a month. Given all of the above, the honest answer will usually be that we hold nothing at all.
