How much does a karaoke room cost in London?
At Lucky Voice Soho it is eight pounds per person per hour off peak and eleven to fourteen at peak, and every private booking is a minimum of two hours, so eight is really sixteen before anyone buys a drink. Peak starts at seven on weekdays. Dragaoke at the Phoenix Arts Club is free to get into.
The number on the website is not the number you pay
The advertised rate is per person, per hour, and a private room is a minimum of two hours. So eight pounds a head is sixteen at the very least, for one person, before drinks.
When peak starts, which is the whole game
Peak begins at seven Monday to Friday, five on Saturday and six on Sunday. A room at six on a Wednesday is eight pounds an hour a head; the same room an hour later is twelve. Peak is eleven on Monday and Tuesday, twelve on Wednesday, fourteen Thursday to Saturday and twelve on Sunday.
The free one
Dragaoke at the Phoenix Arts Club is drag hosted karaoke in a room rather than a private booth, and it is free to get in.
