Crouch End London: what's on and things to do

Crouch End is the bit of north London that never got a tube station and has been quietly fine about it ever since. The clock tower, the hill, a broadcasting studio in an old Salvation Army building, and a comedy club under a pub that has been running new material nights since 1981. It is a walk from Finsbury Park or Highgate and the buses run late, which matters more here than it does elsewhere.
