Directions

What to expect

Luca Guadagnino’s origin story of OpenAI, and of the few days that saw Sam Altman thrown out of the company he founded. Andrew Garfield plays Altman, with Yura Borisov, Monica Barbaro, Cooper Hoffman, Jason Schwartzman, Chris O’Dowd, Ike Barinholtz and Mark Rylance, from a script by Simon Rich. It is the international premiere, 140 minutes, and it screens in the Gala strand

Worth knowing

The date, time and venue here are the ones the BFI published in its own programme announcement. Booking is through the festival’s box office, which we could not load from this desk, so the price and what is left are on the BFI’s page rather than ours.

South Bank has the nearest stations and everything else on in the same part of town. The Royal Festival Hall page collects every listing we hold for that address. Filed under Film.
