Directions

What to expect

The closing night gala of the 70th BFI London Film Festival, at the Royal Festival Hall.

Worth knowing

The UK premiere of The Debut, Jesse Eisenberg’s film about a shy woman cast in a community theatre musical, with Julianne Moore as the director who takes her over.

Quarter past seven at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. The same evening it plays BFI Southbank at twenty to nine and the Prince Charles at a quarter to nine, so a closing night ticket is not only the one gala. Booking opens on 17 September at ten, a week earlier for BFI members. Festival tickets start at £10 across London, though a gala is priced above that, and 16 to 25s can register for £6 tickets.

Nearby

South Bank has the nearest stations and everything else on in the same part of town. The Royal Festival Hall page collects every listing we hold for that address. Filed under Film.
