What to expect
MCM calls this the biggest pop culture weekend in the country, and for three days it fills the halls at the Royal Victoria Dock with voice actors, cosplay, independent artists and comics, games and role play, and a long queue for signatures. Friday has a bonus: the show stays open for After Hours until nine, and that is included in the ticket.
Getting in
General entry runs 12.00 to 18.00 on Friday, 11.00 to 19.00 on Saturday and 12.00 to 17.00 on Sunday, and priority tickets get in earlier on each day. When we read the box office on Wednesday 21 October, Friday and Saturday general entry, the weekend ticket and both VIP passes had sold out. Sunday was still on sale, at £29 for general entry and £39 for priority, both including fees, with a £7 children’s ticket and under fives free with an adult. Carers come free with any general, priority or weekend ticket.
