Ronnie Scott’s: Late Late Show with Rachael Cohen

Rachael Cohen is one of the most sought-after alto players in London, and this is the straight-ahead end of the late programme: a proper blowing session rather than a club night.

This is the main club downstairs. The Late Late Show is a separate ticket from the evening show and a different room to be in: a DJ plays before and after the band, and the crowd is a mix of people who have been there all night and people who have just arrived. Doors 23:15, music from around midnight to two, doors close at three.

Frith Street, Soho. Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road are both a few minutes away, and the Night Tube runs on the Piccadilly and Central lines on Friday and Saturday nights.
