Markets, late kitchens, the pubs that are worth the journey, and the strips where dinner is the evening rather than the thing before it. Prices here are what a main course or a pint actually costs, not the cheapest thing on the menu, and anywhere serving after eleven is flagged.

Christmas by the River, London Bridge City

Chalets along the Thames path between Hay's Galleria and Tower Bridge. Free, and the walk is the point: the bridge lit on one side, the City on the other. 2026 dates not yet announced.
