What to expect

The viewing floors at the top of the Shard become a headphone party for the night: three DJs play at once, each on its own channel, and you flick between them with a button on the side of the glowing headset. It is the only way to be up there at one in the morning with a drink, and the city does most of the decorating.

Worth knowing

Doors are at 21.30 and it finishes at 01.00, over 18s only, with a full pay bar that takes cards and not cash. Tickets start at £37.50 on the Shard’s own page. The next two dates are 21 November and 5 December.
