Ronnie Scott’s Upstairs: Late Late Show with Viva Cuba

Cuban music upstairs, and the most regular fixture in the whole late programme: it runs almost every Friday through to December. This is dancing rather than sitting.

Upstairs at Ronnie’s is the room above the main club, with its own staircase off Frith Street and its own ticket. It holds a fraction of the number downstairs does, which is the reason to go up rather than stay down. Doors at 22:45, and the doors close at three.

Soho empties late and the walk to Tottenham Court Road takes five minutes. Outside the Night Tube nights it is a bus or a cab, because the last trains go long before the room does.
