BST Hyde Park 2027: what is announced, how the tickets work, and the free days

No 2027 dates or line-up have been announced. What the ticket types actually mean, the rule on children, and the free midweek days most people miss.

A crowd in front of an outdoor festival stage

BST Hyde Park takes over a corner of Hyde Park for several weekends across late June and July, with one headline act a day on a site that holds tens of thousands. This page carries what the festival itself has published and nothing else.

What is announced for 2027

Nothing yet. As of late September 2026 the festival’s own ticket page says to check back for news on 2027, and its home page offers a newsletter sign up for that news. No dates, no line-up and no on sale time have been published, and the line-up pages doing the rounds elsewhere are guesses. We put the dates here the day the festival publishes them, and until then this page is the standing guide.

How the tickets work when they go on sale

General Admission is standing, in the main arena. Primary Entry is the same view but lets you in up to an hour before General Admission, which is the difference between a decent spot and the back. Gold Circle puts you in front of the Great Oak Stage, and the VIP tiers above it, HydeAway, Diamond, the Seat Unique Terrace and the Great Oak Roof Garden, buy you a bar, a garden and in the top tiers food and drink included.

Children aged 2 to 9 need a Child plus Guardian ticket, sold as a pair with an adult of 18 or over. Under 2s go free and need no ticket. For access needs there is a Ground Level Viewing Area and a raised Viewing Platform at the main stage, each with a free Personal Assistant pass and chairs on the platforms; you collect the passes inside the event on proof of disability, so bring it and your order number.

The festival asks fans to buy only through its official channels and lists its trusted agents. Everything else, including any 2027 ticket being sold now, is a secondary site.

The free part most people miss

Open House is the festival’s free to enter midweek programme in the same park: live music, arts, cinema, workshops and family activities between the ticketed weekends. It ran again in 2026. If you want the park and the atmosphere without the ticket price, this is the way in.

What a day there is actually like

Gates open early afternoon and the headliner is on around half past eight, finishing at half past ten because of the park’s licence. That curfew is firm: the show stops, and it stops on time. The site is large and flat, so sightlines are poor unless you are early or on a platform, and the screens do most of the work from halfway back.

Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner are the least painful stations at the end of the night; Green Park is the one everybody walks to. Leaving during the last song is the difference between a train and a queue.

Dates and events for 2027 go in as venues confirm them. The guide above is what we know so far; it is rewritten as the list fills.

Questions people ask

Has BST Hyde Park 2027 been announced?

Not as of late September 2026. The festival's own ticket page says to check back for news on 2027 and its home page offers a newsletter for that news. No dates, no line-up, no on sale.

When do BST Hyde Park 2027 tickets go on sale?

No date has been published. The festival announces its line-up first and sells through its own official agents; it asks fans not to buy from secondary sites, so anything on sale for 2027 now is one.

What is the difference between General Admission and Primary Entry?

Both are standing in the main arena. Primary Entry lets you in up to an hour before General Admission, which is how people get near the front.

Can I take children to BST Hyde Park?

Children aged 2 to 9 need a Child plus Guardian ticket, sold as a pair with an adult of 18 or over. Under 2s go free and need no ticket.

Is there anything free at BST Hyde Park?

Yes. Open House is the festival's free to enter midweek programme in the park: live music, arts, cinema, workshops and family activities between the ticketed weekends.

Every listing on this page is checked against the venue's own page and the page is rewritten each year, usually six to eight weeks before the dates. Times and prices can change on the night; the venue link on each event is the one to trust. How we choose what goes in.
