What to expect

Soraya is a Persian restaurant from the Pachamama Group, coming to 96 George Street in Marylebone, a corner site that also fronts Loxton Walk. The brand began in Abu Dhabi, and this is its London restaurant.

No opening day has been announced. Soraya’s own website says only that it is opening soon. Dates in July and then August were reported and passed, and the latest reports disagree, with Hot Dinners listing it for September and The Nudge for October. We will add the day, and how to book, when Soraya announces them.

It is billed as a contemporary take on Persian cooking. Dishes reported so far include kuku sabzi, khachapuri pide, lamb koobideh, a short rib khoresh with sour grape, and golden tahdig.

The restaurant covers 6,000 square feet, with 190 covers, an open kitchen, an L-shaped bar, two private dining rooms and seats outside, and is set to serve from breakfast through to dinner. No prices have been published, and for now the website sells gift cards.

The details here come from Soraya’s own website, checked on 16 September 2026, from the Portman Estate’s announcement and Restaurant Online’s report of 20 April 2026, and from later coverage in Hot Dinners, Harden’s and The Nudge.
