City Comedy Club London: what's on

A basement room under Trapeze Bar on Great Eastern Street, five minutes from Old Street and eight from Liverpool Street. Shows run Wednesday to Sunday, most of them with a drink included in the ticket, and the seating is allocated rather than a scramble, so you are shown to a seat when you arrive. Doors half an hour before. Over 18s and they do check ID. There is a dress code, no sportswear or work clothes, and they cap groups at ten with no stag or hen parties, which tells you what kind of room they are trying to keep it.
