What to expect

Dishoom’s eighth London restaurant, which Dishoom calls Dishoom Borough, takes about 8,000 square feet over two floors of The Hop Exchange, 24 Southwark Street, SE1 1TY, near London Bridge, with a covered verandah.

It opens with a soft launch from 12 to 20 October 2026, with 50% off food, according to Time Out and Southwark News. Dishoom’s own page says coming soon, October 2026.

The menu has the Dishoom regulars, black daal, gunpowder potatoes, bacon naan rolls and Chicken Ruby, and one dish served only here, a Keralan pepper chicken. Dishoom was founded by Shamil and Kavi Thakrar. Prices and booking details for Borough have not been published.

The details here come from Dishoom’s own page for Borough, checked on 16 September 2026, and from Time Out’s report of 10 September 2026 and Southwark News.
