The city's photography fair, four days in mid May. It left Somerset House for Olympia in 2026 and the 2027 venue has not been confirmed.
Four days in mid May, Thursday to Sunday. Galleries from across the world bring photographs to sell, alongside a public programme of talks and a prize for a photographer at the start of their career. It is a selling fair rather than an exhibition, which changes the feel of it: everything on the wall has a price, and you can ask about any of it.
Where it is, which is a real question this year
Photo London spent a decade at Somerset House and moved to Olympia in 2026. The venue for 2027 has not been announced. We are not going to guess between the two, so check the fair’s own site before travelling, and treat any listing that states a 2027 venue confidently with suspicion.
Tickets
Ticketed, with day passes and a cheaper late entry, and weekend passes that work out better if you want more than one visit. Students and concessions are usually reduced. Prices are set each year with the programme.
Going for the first time
It is large and it is dense. The talks programme is the best way in if you do not know the galleries, and the emerging photographer section is where the prices and the crowds are both lower.
