Moco Museum London: tickets, times and how long you need
What is inside Moco Museum at Marble Arch, what the three ticket types actually get you, how long to allow, and the free thing most visitors miss.

Moco is a privately owned modern and contemporary art museum with sites in Amsterdam and Barcelona, and the London one at Marble Arch is the newest. It holds over a hundred works across modern, contemporary, digital and immersive art, and the names on the wall are the ones people have heard of: Banksy, Warhol, Basquiat, Haring, Kusama, Hirst.
It is a paid museum in a city full of free ones, so the fair question is what you get for the money.
Where it is and how long to allow
Checked on the operator’s own site on 9 September 2026. 1-4 Marble Arch, London W1H 7EJ, at the top of Park Lane where Oxford Street begins. Marble Arch station is on the doorstep.
Allow 90 to 120 minutes. That is the museum’s own estimate and it is honest: the digital and immersive rooms take longer than the hung works, and rushing them is missing the point of coming.
Opening hours are Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 17:00, Friday and Saturday 10:00 to 18:00, and Sunday 10:00 to 17:00. It is fully air conditioned, which is worth knowing in August.
The three tickets, and which one you need
General Admission from £16.90 covers all current exhibitions on a timed slot. Flex from £23.90 drops the slot and lets you arrive any time during opening hours. VIP from £28.90 adds full flexibility and a poster from the gift shop.
Booking online saves up to £5 a ticket against the door, and children up to 4 go free. For most visitors General Admission is the right answer; Flex is worth it only if your day genuinely will not hold a fixed time.
The free thing people miss
There is a free audio tour, but you need to bring your own headphones. Nobody tells you this at the door and it materially changes the visit, because a good deal of the context for the Banksy and digital works is in the audio rather than on the labels.
What is actually on
The permanent programme runs across three strands: Modern Masters, a Banksy exhibition forming part of Contemporary Masters, and a digital and immersive section including work by Six N. Five and Pulse Interactive. It rates 4.6 out of 5, and Moco reports over eight million visitors across all three of its cities.
If you would rather not pay
This is central London, and the national collections a short walk or one tube stop away are free. Free museums in London covers what is free to walk into and what still charges inside. For the paid immersive category, immersive experiences and the Paradox Museum are the closest comparisons, and central London covers what else is inside a walk.
