Oxford Street London: what's on
London's main shopping street, a mile and a half of it, and the first place most visitors go and most Londoners avoid. Best treated as a route rather than a destination: the interesting shopping is a street either side, in Marylebone to the north and Soho to the south. The link here goes to the New West End Company, the business improvement district for the street, since the street itself has no single owner.
