What it is

Fireworks and a drone display over two nights on the hill at Alexandra Palace, which is the point of going here rather than anywhere else: the view back over London is the show behind the show. The palace lists it as its Fireworks and Drone Festival.

When and getting in

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026. Book through the palace’s own what’s on page. Alexandra Palace and Wood Green are the nearest stations and both are slow to clear afterwards; the walk down through the park to Finsbury Park is often quicker.

The free way to watch it

The park outside the paid enclosure is free, and you can see the fireworks perfectly well from it, which is what a good number of locals do. Inside gets you the funfair, the food and a beer festival in the ice rink; outside gets you the view for nothing. Either way expect a long slow walk back down the hill.
