What to expect
What it is
One night only. The actor Jonathan Goodwin performs a one man adaptation of George Eliot’s gothic Victorian tale, following Latimer, a troubled man who believes he has second sight. Whether there is life after death, and whether any of it is fate, is the argument the piece is having with itself.
Times and what the ticket covers
Doors at 7pm, the show starts at 7.30pm. Fifteen pounds, and the ticket includes a glass of wine. It is one performance, not a run, so there is no second chance on it.
What Highgate does not do at Halloween
It runs no ghost tour and no Halloween event, whatever the roundups say. Its autumn programme is six dated evenings and this is the one that falls near the end of October. The cemetery is open 10am to 5pm daily until November for ordinary visits.
Nearby
Hampstead has the nearest stations and everything else on in the same part of town. The Highgate Cemetery page collects every listing we hold for that address. Filed under Seasonal.
