Directions

What to expect

Thousands of runners take 13.1 miles of closed roads through Hyde Park, Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens, past Buckingham Palace, Parliament and the Royal Albert Hall. Registration has closed, so for most people this is a free morning out on the pavement with a coffee.

Where to watch

The organiser’s own supporter guide calls St James’s Park the sweet spot, because runners pass it at miles 1, 2, 3 and 4.5. Hyde Park carries miles 6 to 10, and you can see people more than once if you cut across the grass. The finish is by the Albert Memorial, and the event village with its kids zone is in Hyde Park. Waves start from 8.45am and the last one goes at 9.44am.

Expect road closures across the West End all morning. Checked against the organiser’s own page on 7 October 2026.

Nearby

Mayfair has the nearest stations and everything else on in the same part of town. The Hyde Park page collects every listing we hold for that address. Filed under Sport.
