What to expect

Friday to nine, free, and nothing to book: the collection stays open with the building, and the Turbine Hall is at its best once it is dark outside.

Three shows are paid this month: Frida: The Making of an Icon, Ana Mendieta, and Julio Le Parc: Light. Colour. Action. Members go into all three without booking.

Tate gives its hours as Sunday to Thursday 10.00 to 18.00 and Friday and Saturday 10.00 to 21.00. Checked against Tate’s own Tate Modern visit page on 21 October 2026.

Nearby

South Bank has the nearest stations and everything else on in the same part of town. The Tate Modern page collects every listing we hold for that address. Filed under Exhibitions.
