Southwark Cathedral London: what's on
The cathedral beside Borough Market, parts of it medieval and free to walk into, with a Shakespeare memorial and his brother buried in the choir. Small for a cathedral, which makes the scale of the retrochoir surprising. Evensong is sung on most weekdays and anyone can sit in.
