What to expect

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year and Tate Modern is open to nine as it is every Saturday, free, with nothing to book. A quieter way to start a night that gets louder everywhere else.

The collection is free and stays open with the building. Three shows are paid: Frida: The Making of an Icon, Ana Mendieta, and Julio Le Parc: Light. Colour. Action. Members go into all three without booking.

Tate gives its hours as Sunday to Thursday 10.00 to 18.00 and Friday and Saturday 10.00 to 21.00. Checked against Tate’s own Tate Modern visit page on 21 October 2026.

Nearby

South Bank has the nearest stations and everything else on in the same part of town. The Tate Modern page collects every listing we hold for that address. Filed under Exhibitions.
