What to expect
Dr Archibald runs as a fantasy VR ride during the day and switches to its horror edition at five in the evening, with heavier effects, zombies, man eating plants and spiders at close range.
Worth knowing
Over tens only. It is one of the few things on the site that is genuinely a different ride after dark rather than just a darker one.
Part of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, which runs from Thursday 19 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027 and is closed on Christmas Day only. Park entry is booked as a dated one hour arrival slot and costs a pound off peak, five pounds fifty standard and eight pounds twenty five at peak, or nothing at all if you add twenty five pounds of rides, food or attractions to the same booking. Booking fees are included in those prices this year.
