Winter Wonderland: The Giant Wheel

At seventy metres this is the largest transportable observation wheel in the world, and the view over the park and the city after dark is the reason to queue for it.

Fast track entry is sold as an upgrade, and on a December weekend it is the difference between ten minutes and an hour.

Part of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, which runs from Thursday 19 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027 and is closed on Christmas Day only. Park entry is booked as a dated one hour arrival slot and costs a pound off peak, five pounds fifty standard and eight pounds twenty five at peak, or nothing at all if you add twenty five pounds of rides, food or attractions to the same booking. Booking fees are included in those prices this year.
