What to expect

Caravan is opening its largest restaurant at the Southbank Centre, on Festival Terrace off Belvedere Road, SE1 8XX: 8,500 square feet across two rebuilt railway arches, with two bars, a terrace and private dining. It is due in November 2026, with no day announced.

Caravan was founded by Miles Kirby, now chef director, and Chris Ammermann, operations director, with Laura Harper-Hinton as chief executive. The all-day menu brings small plates, pizzas, salad bowls, a pork schnitzel with fried egg, coconut red curry and lamb chops.

A takeaway and cocktail spin-off called The Klink is planned for January 2027. Prices and hours for the Southbank site have not been published.
