London Museum Smithfield: its four bars and restaurants

The new London Museum's food and drink, run by Green & Fortune with Robin Gill and Mr Lyan: four places, one open round the clock. Opens 28 November.

What to expect

The London Museum opens at West Smithfield on 28 November 2026, and its food and drink opens with it. Green & Fortune runs all of it under a ten-year contract, with Robin Gill as food curator, Dan Rampat as chef director and Mr Lyan Studio on drinks.

There are four places. Clerks House is a 140-seat all-day dining room for seasonal roasts and pies. Bartholomew’s is a bar on Farringdon Road with Mr Lyan cocktails and pub classics. The Temperance Cocoa Rooms is an alcohol-free cafe planned to open around the clock from Thursday to Sunday, and The Roost hosts rotating street food residencies.
