What to expect
Tofu Vegan, the plant-based Chinese restaurant group that started in Islington in 2021, is opening at 397 Strand, WC2R 0LP. Hot Dinners reported the site on 27 August 2026 and gives October 2026, with no day announced.
The group already runs restaurants in Fitzrovia, Golders Green, Spitalfields, Gloucester Road and on Charlotte Street, and the menu follows theirs: dumplings, sizzling stir-fry dishes and a separate gluten-free vegan menu.
No website, prices, hours or booking have been published for the Strand site yet. We will add them when Tofu Vegan does.
