Battersea Park London: what's on

Two hundred acres on the south bank between the two bridges, with a boating lake, a children's zoo and the Peace Pagoda facing the river. Flatter and quieter than the royal parks and much less visited. The November fireworks are the busiest night of its year and are ticketed.
