Brick Lane London: what's on

The spine of the East End's Bangladeshi quarter, curry houses at the southern end and vintage shops at the northern, with the Old Truman Brewery in between. Sunday is the day it takes over: the street market runs into Cheshire Street and Sclater Street and the whole length becomes impassable. Beigel Bake at the top has never closed. The link here goes to the Truman Brewery, which is the landlord for most of what happens on the lane, since the street itself has no single owner.
