Buckingham Palace London: what's on
The working headquarters of the monarchy, at the end of the Mall. The State Rooms open to visitors in late summer while the King is in Scotland; the rest of the year you are looking at the railings. The Changing of the Guard is free, happens on set days, and is best watched from the Victoria Memorial rather than the gates.
