The old fruit and vegetable market hall, glassed over and full of shops, with street performers working licensed pitches in the west courtyard and under the portico of St Paul's church. The Apple Market inside sells crafts on most days and antiques on Mondays. Crowded, and better in the early evening than at lunchtime.
