Fitzrovia Chapel London: what's on
All that survives of the Middlesex Hospital, kept when the rest was demolished and now standing alone in a courtyard off Mortimer Street. The interior is gold mosaic from floor to vault and takes about ten seconds to understand why it was saved. Open on limited days and usually free.
