Regent's Park London: what's on

The most formal of the central royal parks, with Queen Mary's Gardens holding several thousand roses that peak in June. The Open Air Theatre runs a summer season under the trees and the boating lake takes rowing boats. The northern edge runs into London Zoo and the Regent's Canal, which is the walk worth doing.

  • HoursPedestrian gates 5am to 8pm and vehicle gates 7am to midnight. Primrose Hill is open around the clock on weekdays, and closed from 10pm to 6am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights until 8 November.
