Wellcome Collection London: what's on

Free, on Euston Road, and built around Henry Wellcome's collection of objects about what it is to be human: medical, anthropological and frequently unsettling. The exhibitions are consistently among the most thoughtful in London. There is a reading room upstairs where you are meant to sit down and stay a while.

• HoursGalleries and Reading Room: Tuesday to Sunday, 10.00 to 18.00, closed Monday. The library is open Monday to Friday 10.00 to 18.00 and Saturday 10.00 to 16.00, closed Sunday. The cafe and shop open daily, 10.00 to 18.00.
