Jurassic World: The Experience London has closed

Jurassic World: The Experience has ended its London run and the official site no longer lists the city. What it was, and the dinosaurs you can still see for free.

Jurassic World: The Experience has closed in London. Two things confirm it: the official site’s own list of cities carries Bangkok, Munich, Milan, Buenos Aires and Singapore and no London at all, and its London page returns a not found.

Checked on the operator’s own site on 9 September 2026. So there is no London run to book, whatever the listing sites still say.

What it was

A walk-through experience built around animatronic dinosaurs from the Jurassic World films, staged in a large temporary venue. It sat in the same category as the other big licensed walk-throughs that take over London warehouses for a season and then move on, which is exactly what this one did.

The dinosaurs you can still see, and they are free

London has better dinosaurs than the ones that left, and they do not charge.

The Crystal Palace Dinosaurs were unveiled in 1854 and are the oldest dinosaur sculptures in the world. They are outdoors, free, in a public park, and gloriously wrong: modelled before the science existed, which is why the iguanodon has a horn on its nose that later turned out to be a thumb spike. Our Crystal Palace Park guide covers them, along with the dinosaur-themed playground in the same park.

The Natural History Museum is free to walk into and has the real thing, which is a different proposition from animatronics but a better one if the child in question actually likes dinosaurs. Free museums in London covers what is free to enter and what still charges inside.

If it was the format you wanted

Immersive experiences in London covers what is currently running. The Paradox Museum in Knightsbridge and Bubble Planet in Wembley are the two closest in shape, and things to do in London with kids covers the wider list.

Why we keep saying this

This is the fourth London experience we have had to write a closure notice for. The sector moves faster than its own listings, so the closed list is kept deliberately up to date.

Questions people ask

Is Jurassic World: The Experience still in London?

No. Checked on 9 September 2026, the official site lists Bangkok, Munich, Milan, Buenos Aires and Singapore as its cities, with no London, and the London page returns a not found.

Where can you see dinosaurs in London for free?

The Crystal Palace Dinosaurs, unveiled in 1854 and the oldest dinosaur sculptures in the world, stand outdoors in a free public park. The Natural History Museum is also free to walk into and has real fossils rather than animatronics.

What was Jurassic World: The Experience?

A walk-through experience built around animatronic dinosaurs from the films, staged in a large temporary venue, in the same category as the other licensed walk-throughs that take a London warehouse for a season and then move on.

What is similar to Jurassic World: The Experience in London?

For the walk-through format, the Paradox Museum in Knightsbridge and Bubble Planet in Wembley are the closest still running. For dinosaurs specifically, Crystal Palace Park and the Natural History Museum are both free.

This guide is rewritten rather than refreshed, and everything named in it is checked against the venue's own page. Times and prices change; where a listing links to a venue, that link is the one to trust. How we choose what goes in.
