Tattu London: where it is, and the one that is not open yet

Tattu London is on Denmark Street above the Outernet, not where most listings suggest. Where to find it, what the menus are, and the Canary Wharf confusion.

A dining room hung with blossom

Tattu is a modern Chinese and Japanese restaurant group with sites across Britain, and the London one is the reason most people are searching. It is designed around the idea of a traditional Chinese courtyard house, and the room is a substantial part of what you are paying for.

Where it actually is

Checked on the venue’s own site on 9 September 2026. Tattu London is at The Now Building Rooftop, Denmark Street, WC2H 0LA, on top of the Outernet development by Tottenham Court Road. The phone number listed is 0203 778 1985.

This causes confusion because Tattu’s own site lists Soho and Canary Wharf as separate locations, which reads like two restaurants. Following both links: Soho and London are the same restaurant, the Denmark Street one. Canary Wharf is marked coming soon and is not open. If a listing sends you to Canary Wharf for dinner, it is wrong.

There is also a Phoenix Bar at the Denmark Street site, run as part of the same operation.

The menus

Six of them: a lunch set menu, the main menu, a sushi menu, a theatre menu, a sharing menu and drinks. Private dining is available for hire.

The theatre menu is the one worth knowing about given where it is. Denmark Street is a few minutes from most of the West End, which makes this a genuine pre-theatre option rather than a nominal one. Our pre-theatre dinner guide covers how those menus work and when they stop serving, and London theatre shows lists what is on.

When it is open

Monday to Sunday, from midday until late. Booking is through the restaurant’s own reservation system and is advisable at weekends.

What else is up there

The Now Building sits above Outernet, the wraparound screen venue on Denmark Street, and the whole block is a short walk from Soho. Rooftop bars covers the other places to drink with a view, and things to do in London at night covers what happens after dinner.
