What to expect

Clementine is a daytime cafe from Anna Higham, who opened Quince Bakery directly opposite in February 2024. It opens on 3 October 2026 at 190 New North Road, N1 7AA, with Marcus Westlake, formerly of Forno and Brawn, developing the food.

It is small, 20 covers, and runs Wednesday to Sunday from 8am to 4pm. The fit-out was part-funded through a second Crowdfunder campaign, and the interiors, by Dan Wilson Studio, lean Shaker and Arts and Crafts: oak, slate and a tiled fireplace.

Coffee is from Allpress and Red Bank and tea from Postcard Teas, including a blend sold only here, with seasonal cordials. News comes through Instagram, @clementine.quince.

The details here come from Hot Dinners and Restaurant Online, which reported the cafe on 28 May 2026, from Time Out’s report of the opening date, and from the Clementine Crowdfunder page, checked on 16 September 2026.
