What to expect

Marrion’s is the first place of his own for Elliott Kaye, who co-founded Norman’s Cafe in 2020 and cooked at Lyle’s and The French House. It opens on Thursday 17 September 2026 at 177 Morning Lane, Hackney, E9 6LH.

The menu is bar food with some ambition: devilled crab rarebit, pork schnitzel holstein, moules frites, prawn cocktail, a cheeseburger, a tuna melt, and fries with malt vinegar mayo. Dishes run from £6 to £16, and wine from £5 a glass and £30 a bottle, with Victoria Málaga on tap.

It opens Thursday to Saturday from 6pm to midnight, with last orders at 11pm, and for brunch on Sundays from noon. News is on Instagram, @marrionslondon.

The details here come from Hot Dinners and The Nudge, which both give the opening date, and from Restaurant Online and the Hackney Gazette, checked on 16 September 2026.
