What to expect

The Talli Queen is the former Queen Adelaide pub at 412 Uxbridge Road, Shepherd’s Bush, W12 0NR, reopened by chef Avi Shashidhara, formerly of Hibiscus, the River Cafe and Pahli Hill, with James McLean of The Oarsman in Marlow.

Its own website says it opens in October 2026. Summer reports said September, and one in late August said the following week, so October is the operator’s latest word, with no day given.

The menu mixes pub and Indian cooking: chilli beef, mussel skewers, crab buns, papdi chaat, and tandoor and charcoal mains, with cocktails made with Indian spirits, across roughly 100 to 120 covers. News is on Instagram, @thetalliqueen.

The details here come from The Talli Queen’s own website, checked on 16 September 2026, and from Hospitality and Catering News, Harden’s and AG&G, which reported it between April and August 2026.
