What to expect
The Hero’s Return is a British pub at Unit 29, Circus West, Battersea Power Station, SW8 4NN, from David Ramsey and Jason Myers of Splendid Hospitality Investments, the company behind Bancone. The executive chef is Jonathan Woolway, formerly of St John and The Shed in Swansea.
It was first trailed for summer 2026. Its own website still says coming soon, with no date, no bookings and no hours, so it has not opened.
The menu reported so far includes ox heart with hand-cut chips and peppercorn sauce, and cold roast Gower lamb with celeriac remoulade, and there is a 40-cover terrace on the river. Prices have not been published.
The details here come from The Hero’s Return’s own website, checked on 16 September 2026, and from The Caterer and Hot Dinners, which reported it on 16 and 20 July 2026.
